Above Parr Hardwood Floors, Inc. is a Denver, Colorado based full service hardwood floor company specializing in installation, refinishing, staircases, rails as well as water damage restoration. We are dedicated to providing quality workmanship and professional service to our residential and commercial customers.
Originally founded as Above Parr Carpets in 1987 , Above Parr has come a long way since introducing its first service, carpet cleaning, a service that is no longer offered. For over 21 years , Above Parr has proven itself a leader in the hardwood floor industry, and has become a company recognized for its dedication to ethical business practices and exceptional products and services.
Above Parr SERVICES
Installation
Including wood, installation, sanding, filling and finishing with 2 coats oil based polyurethane or 3 coats water based urethane. Floors can have a 3rd coat of oil based polyurethane or stain added to the project as well as trim work at an additional cost.
Handrails
We can completely remove and reinstall new handrails. We also offer restoration of old handrails including changing the color and re-sanding of old rails. We offer a complete selection of iron balusters to choose from: houseofforgings.net
Hardwood Stairs
We offer complete hardwood stair face overs. We leave the skeleton of your stair case in place and install new treads, risers and side stringers. Stairs can be made in a variety of species and stains to match your floor. We can also install new balusters and handrails. With hundreds of stairs completed, we are truly wood stair professionals.
Sand, Fill & Refinish
Natural or stained with 2 or 3 coats of oil based polyurethane or 3 coats of water based urethane. There is an extra charge for glue and mastic removal.
Prefinished Hardwood Installation
We offer a full line of prefinished hardwood floors from Bruce, Somerset and the Palo collections. This service is broken out in pricing in two categories: wood cost (based on your selection of wood) and installation.
Screen & Coat
This service is for floors in good shape that are in need of a fresh coat of finish. Floor must be free of waxes and oils.
Water Damage Restoration
Including wood, installation, sanding, filling and finishing with 2 coats oil based polyurethane or 3 coats water based urethane. Floors can have a 3rd coat of oil based polyurethane or stain added to the project as well as trim work at an additional cost.
Repairs and Other Services
Repairs for small to medium size areas. Carpet removal / prep, staples and tack strips. Haul carpet and trash to the dump. Baseboard installation.
