American Cherry - Premier species of the North American Hardwoods. The varying grades allow one to be rather grand or casual in the floors appearance. Extremely light sensitive, cherry darkens dramatically over time and character marks become distinguishing features. Color can range significantly between boards, with shades ranging from light to dark reddish-brown to light pink. Widths: 1½”, 2¼”, 3¼”, 4”, 5” ▪ Thickness: 3/4” ▪ Hardness: 950 Brazilian Cherry - Is as beautiful as it is durable. Freshly milled Brazilian cherry has a yellowish/tan color. This dramatically darkens over several months to the popular reddish brown/burgundy color. The deep, rich color contains fine, dark, mineral streaks. This is the hardest of your wood choices.
